Rugby League's Women in League program is about recognising and rewarding the important role that women play in the game.

Women and girls are an important part of the rugby league family. There are many different ways that women and girls can and do participate in our game, both on and off the field.

Come and join us by taking an active role in your local club. If playing the game appeals to you in either its full or modified form go to http://www.playrugbyleague.com.au/girlsandwomens/

Did you know that there are other on- and off-field roles you could play?

• Female match officials are now officiating at all levels of the game up to Premier League. Training courses for referees and sideline officials are running throughout the year.
• Coaching and first aid courses are offered on a regular basis. These courses start at a basic level and are suitable for all over the age of 14.
• Club administration courses are run by ARL Development to help volunteers. If you are interested in becoming more involved in the administration of your local club check out the areas you can be involved in on the Club Administration Centre at www.arldevelopment.com.au

This year at the One Community Awards night the valuable contribution made to rugby league by women will again be recognised and highlighted.
