Cancer Council, will partner with Rugby League’s grassroots and the Telstra Premiership Finals Series to promote the ‘Call To Arms’ campaign to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer in men.

Sporting clubs are invited to nominate a day in July to hold a Call To Arms match where players wear a yellow armband at their game to help raise awareness and funds for men's cancer - a disease that effects 1 in 2 men by the age of 85.

Clubs are encouraged to run fundraising activities on the day or throughout the month and donate to Cancer Council. All funds raised through Call To Arms goes towards helping to prevent cancers in men, finding new treatments and funding support programs for men in need.
